Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a General Service Technician in Tucson, AZ. This entry-level role involves oil changes, tire services, basic maintenance, and Digital Vehicle Inspections while learning from experienced technicians and store leaders.

You’ll work in a shop environment with safety training, paid time off, and opportunities to advance toward higher technician roles as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• The right candidate is reliable, safety-focused, mechanically inclined, willing to learn, and ready to build foundational shop skills in a structured automotive service environment.
• Strong interest in the automotive repair industry and ability to follow written procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations.
• Conduct oil changes and basic maintenance such as fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, and filters.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and repair order documentation accurately.
• Identify safety-related issues and communicate findings through proper channels.
• Help maintain a clean, safe shop and assist with transportation of parts and supplies.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and participate in ongoing training.
