Job summary

Willis Automotive in Urbandale, IA is seeking an entry level technician to perform general preventative maintenance on customer and fleet vehicles under the supervision of the Service Manager.

Responsibilities include oil changes, tune-ups, fluid checks, tire rotations, replacing worn parts, disassembly/reassembly, and timely record-keeping. Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, ASE certification preferred, valid driver’s license, and solid hand-tool skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; postsecondary training preferred.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic care and maintenance, including oil changes, tune-ups, fluid checks and tire rotations; replace worn parts using common hand tools.
• Disassemble and reassemble parts.
• Complete records and reports timely and accurately.
