Job summary

Hyundai Motor America is seeking an entry-level automotive technician responsible for oil changes, tire rotations, basic services, tire and battery replacement, and other routine tasks under guidance. You will work with the dealership team to diagnose simple issues, maintain shop cleanliness, and use the Dealer Management System for work orders and inspections; prior experience is not required.

The role requires a High School diploma, the ability to work 18+, and a valid driver's license; ASE

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of automotive experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. with a valid in-state driver’s license and good driving record.
• ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders, in accordance with dealership, state, and factory standards.
• Address customers’ primary concerns with diagnosis, repair, and quality control to attain a Fixed First Visit expectation.
• Master our Dealer Management System (DMS) for work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes, communication, and time keeping.
• Complete required training as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the workspace and in all customer vehicles.
