Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Maintenance Technician as an entry-level member of a team servicing vehicles. The role involves diagnosing and repairing basic automotive systems, performing scheduled maintenance, tire care, and road testing vehicles.

Starting pay range is $12–$18 per hour, with commitments to fair compensation and opportunities for ASE certification through on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
