Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a General Service Technician to learn and grow with a trusted automotive leader. You’ll perform light maintenance, tire services, and inspections while upholding safety and quality standards.

Starting pay ranges from $15–$17 per hour, with opportunities to advance, obtain a State Inspector License, and benefit from paid time off, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement as part of a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Basic automotive knowledge is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tire mounting, dismounting, balancing and rotation.
• Oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance.
• Multi-point inspections and documenting vehicle conditions.
• Keeping the shop clean, organized and safe.
• Drive vehicles safely and obey traffic laws.
• Pick up parts and supplies.
• Transport customers as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns to supervisor.
• Assist teammates with other tasks.
• Adhere to Sun Auto’s policies and core values.
