Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a General Service Technician to perform basic automotive services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections. You will work alongside ASE Certified Automotive Technicians and receive training to progress toward an ASE Automotive Technician role.

This entry-level position could launch a successful career in automotive service. Compensation ranges from $15 to $18 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their place of residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles following company and state guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services under supervision.
• Notes any obvious repairs or safety concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
