Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring entry level Automotive Technicians to learn basic automotive services in our Goodyear Auto Service centers. You will gain hands-on experience while delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced setting.

Starting pay ranges from 15.00 to 20.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for training and career advancement as you grow with Goodyear.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Learn to mount and balance tires, perform oil changes and basic maintenance.
• Train with experienced technicians to learn additional automotive services.
• Deliver excellent guest service with clear vehicle communication.
• Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting.

Starting Pay: 15.00-20.00/hr base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.

As an Entry Level Automotive Technician, you will gain hands-on experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers by learning how to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service.

Shift Information

Depending on location, our stores may be open 7 days a week, which may include weekends and some holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or Previous formal automotive training.
