The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Entry Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in one of our Auto Service centers. You will learn to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding guest service.

No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training and a competitive base pay with benefits. You will learn tire mounting/balancing, oil changes, and preventive maintenance, with opportunities for fast track advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
• Willingness to learn new technologies within the automotive industry.
• Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn to mount and balance tires, perform oil changes, and basic maintenance.
• Train with mid- and senior level technicians to learn additional services.
• Provide excellent guest service with clear communication about guest vehicles.
• Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations.
• Maintain adherence to vehicle care policies and procedures.
• Perform manual tasks including lifting tires and wheels, standing and bending.

The pay range for this position is $15.92 - $24.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Depending on location, our stores may be open 7 days a week, which may include weekends and some holidays
