Job summary

Just Tires, a Goodyear company, is seeking an Entry Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in Goodyear Auto Service centers while learning basic automotive services and delivering outstanding service.

You will be trained in essential tire care, oil changes, and preventative maintenance while developing guest service skills and teamwork. The role offers a training environment, competitive base pay, and benefits with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
• Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or previous formal automotive training.

Responsibilities

• How to complete basic automotive services like mounting and balancing tires, tire repairs, oil changes, filters replacements, and more.
• Train with mid and senior level automotive technicians to learn additional automotive services.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service, including clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
• Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations.
• Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
