The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Entry Level Automotive Technician at Just Tires in Maryland. You will learn to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role includes hands-on tire mounting/balancing, oil changes, and preventative maintenance with opportunities for career growth within Goodyear’s tire and auto service leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; willingness to learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• Mount and balance tires as part of basic automotive services.
• Perform oil changes and basic preventative maintenance tasks.
• Demonstrate guest service and clear communication with customers.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Shift Information

Depending on location, our stores may be open 7 days a week, which may include weekends and some holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or Previous formal automotive training

About the Role: What skills will you learn

• How to complete basic automotive services like mounting and balancing tires, tire repairs, oil changes, filters replacements, and more
• Train with mid and senior level automotive technicians to learn additional automotive services.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles
• Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations
• Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
