Job summary

Just Tires, a Goodyear company, is seeking an entry level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers by learning how to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service.

No experience is required for this position. You will be trained in any skills required, with a path for fast track career advancement and a comprehensive benefits package including medical plans and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or formal automotive training.
• Excellent guest service and clear communication.
• Ability to perform manual tasks including lifting.

Responsibilities

• Learn to mount and balance tires, perform oil changes, and other basic automotive services.
• Train with mid and senior automotive technicians to learn additional services.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service and provide clear communication about vehicles.
• Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations.
• Maintain adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting tires and wheels.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Shift Information: **** Depending on location, our stores may be open 7 days a week, which may include weekends and some holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

About the Role: What skills will you learn?

• How to complete basic automotive services like mounting and balancing tires, tire repairs, oil changes, filters replacements, and more

• Train with mid and senior level automotive technicians to learn additional automotive services.

• Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles

• Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations

• Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation

• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
