Job summary

Just Tires, a Goodyear company in Illinois, seeks an Entry Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in our Auto Service centers. Learn basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service and training for future technician and management roles.

Starting pay is $15.00-$17.00 per hour, with potential benefits including medical plans, 401(k), certification reimbursement and paid vacations. Shifts may include weekends and holidays as stores operate in retail hours.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
• Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Mount and balance tires, perform oil changes, and conduct basic automotive preventative maintenance.
• Train with mid and senior level technicians to learn additional services.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service with clear communication about guest vehicles.
• Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations and maintain safety policies.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.
