Job summary

Dahl Automotive in Rhinelander, WI is hiring a Technician for CDJR. No experience is required as paid training is provided. Starting wage is $18/hour+ with a Monday–Friday schedule and weekends off, plus a comprehensive benefits package including PTO and a 401(k).

You will work with top‑tier tools in a well‑lit shop, growing your hands‑on skills through ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• ASE Certification preferred.
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
• Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude with a customer service mentality.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures and specifications.
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
