Job summary

Dahl Automotive in La Crosse, Wisconsin, is seeking an Auto Technician Express to join our Dahl Autoteam. You will perform repairs, inspections, and maintenance with a state-of-the-art shop and top-notch tools in a bright, energetic environment.

Qualifications

• ASE Certification preferred.
• Motivated individual willing to learn and grow in a team.

• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work per the service order efficiently and per dealership policies.
• Perform quality multipoint inspections.
• Carry out level 2 repairs and preventive maintenance, including light diagnosis and brake/tire work.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools.
• Communicate with Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services.
• Provide time estimates for additional repairs and work under warranty.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Perform quality multipoint inspections
• Perform level 2 repairs and preventive maintenance on our guests' vehicles, including light diagnosis, brake replacement, tire replacement, tire repairs, light suspension repairs, alignments, all fluid services/flushes, etc.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
