Job summary

106 Team Car Care West, LLC (US) seeks a General Service Technician to begin an entry-level career servicing guest vehicles and delivering quality workmanship. You will participate in our training program to gain certification and expertise across the services offered, setting you up for future growth within the team.

You will join a team that emphasizes guest care, safety, and teamwork while working in a busy service center.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Previous experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals
• Effective communication to interact with guests and teammates
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; dependable and a team player
• Demonstrates responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to follow procedures
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform bending and squatting
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures, loud environments, and around exhaust fumes
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
• Commitment to safety protocols and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours
• Demonstrate excellent guest service with clear communication about guest vehicles
• Ensure service center remains clean and presentable
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level automotive technicians
• Check and communicate oil level to teammates
• Ensure proper tire pressure for inflation
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Complete vehicle inspections
• Install a new oil drain plug and oil filter
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
• Document all work performed on the repair order
• Report safety issues immediately to management
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care
• Perform various manual tasks including lifting and handling tires and wheels
