Job summary

Team Car Care is hiring a General Service Technician in Jacksonville, FL. You will start in an entry-level role, service guests' vehicles, and participate in a hands-on training program that leads to service certifications.

The position emphasizes teamwork, communication, and delivering a high-quality guest experience. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean shop, mentoring junior technicians, and accurately documenting work.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months of customer-facing experience (retail, food service, hospitality, etc).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Physically able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform extended manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Service guests' vehicles to ensure quality work and guest satisfaction.
• Participate in training to certify in offered services.
• Keep the service center clean and presentable.
• Guide and mentor junior technicians.
• Check oil level and communicate with teammates; verify tire pressure.
• Document all work performed on repair orders and report safety issues.
