Goodyear's entry level Automotive Technician role offers hands-on training in one of our Auto Service centers, focusing on basic services while delivering outstanding guest service. No experience required; you will be trained to mount/balance tires, oil changes, and preventative maintenance, with a clear path to growth.

We provide competitive hourly pay ($17.00–$22.00) and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, 401(k), and tuition assistance, plus tire discounts and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
• Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.
• Commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Learn to mount and balance tires, tire repairs, oil changes, filters replacements and more.
• Train with mid and senior level automotive technicians to learn additional services.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service with clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
• Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations and adhere to company policy.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting tires and wheels.
