Job summary

Goodyear is hiring an Entry Level Automotive Technician in Baton Rouge to gain hands-on experience in one of our Auto Service centers. You will learn to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service, with no prior experience required and comprehensive on‑the‑job training.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting and handling tires and wheels.
Demonstrate excellent guest service with clear communication about vehicles.
Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations.
Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
Perform basic services: mounting/balancing tires, oil changes, and filter replacements.
Train with mid and senior technicians to learn more services.
Follow safety policies and procedures.
Learn new automotive technologies.
