Job summary

Carter Motors, Inc in Seattle, WA is hiring an entry-level automotive technician for Carter Subaru in Ballard. This role includes training to become a technician, requiring a great attitude, a desire to succeed, and the ability to multi-task.

Starting pay is $21.50 per hour with raises based on performance. Experienced technicians earn typically $70K-$95K per year. We offer benefits and opportunities for growth after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Communication skills – communicates effectively with others.
• Time management – managing one’s own time and time of others.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
• WA state driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Check oil level and communicate with teammates.
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Complete vehicle inspection.
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter.
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first.
