Team Car Care is hiring a General Service Technician in Arlington Heights, IL. This entry-level role trains you to service guest vehicles with certified training through our program.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (i.e. retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Previous experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; independently motivated, dependable, and a team player
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperatures

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours
• Demonstrate excellent guest service with clear communication about guest vehicles
• Ensure service center is clean and presentable
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level automotive technicians
• Check and communicate oil level to teammates
• Ensure tire pressure is correct and fluids are refilled
• Complete vehicle inspection and document work performed
• Report safety issues to management
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care
• Perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and squatting
