Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Omaha, NE is hiring General Service Technicians. No experience required; we’ll teach you the job while you’re paid. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour, with opportunities to learn basic automotive services such as oil changes and tire work.

Responsibilities include tire mounting, oil changes, documenting vehicle condition, and keeping the shop clean. Requires a valid driver’s license and ability to work Saturdays; benefits include health/dental/vision, life insurance,

Qualifications

• Possesses a general understanding of under the hood, mechanical and under carriage assemblies is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services.
• Utilizes the company’s Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order to document vehicle condition.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and showroom.
• Drives vehicles safely; transports customers and parts as needed.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
• Adheres to company policies and participates in scheduled shifts, including Saturdays.
