Woodie’s Auto Service in Charlotte, NC seeks a General Service Technician to perform tire installations, oil changes, battery installs, and basic inspections across multiple local shops. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on training, a friendly team, and opportunities to earn through hourly pay plus commission.

We value reliability, strong communication, and a willingness to learn. You’ll work at several Charlotte locations, with company‑paid ASE certification opportunities and room to grow

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined and eager to learn.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Able to stand, kneel, and crawl while using tools and equipment.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Personal tools (including pneumatic tools for basic services).

Responsibilities

• Perform tire installations and rotations.
• Complete oil, lube, and filter services.
• Install batteries.
• Assist with inspections and basic mechanical repairs.
• Work on all makes and models.
• Follow proper procedures and maintain high-quality standards.
