Woodie’s Auto Service is seeking a General Service Technician to join our team in Charleston and Charlotte. This entry‑level role offers training, ASE certification opportunities paid by the company, and clear paths for advancement.

You’ll perform oil, tire, battery, and basic services while upholding high-quality standards. This position emphasizes growth, skills development, and a strong, supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined and eager to learn.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Able to stand, kneel, and crawl while using tools and equipment.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Personal tools (including pneumatic tools for basic services).

Responsibilities

• Perform tire installations and rotations.
• Complete oil, lube, and filter services.
• Install batteries.
• Assist with inspections and basic mechanical repairs.
• Work on all makes and models.
• Follow proper procedures and maintain high-quality standards.
