Woodie’s Auto Service in Charlotte, NC seeks a General Service Technician to perform tire installations, oil changes, battery installs, and basic inspections across multiple local shops. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on training, a friendly team, and opportunities to earn through hourly pay plus commission.

We value reliability, strong communication, and a willingness to learn. You’ll work at several Charlotte locations, with company‑paid ASE certification opportunities and room to grow

Qualifications

Mechanically inclined and eager to learn.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
Able to stand, kneel, and crawl while using tools and equipment.
At least 18 years old.
Valid driver’s license.
Personal tools (including pneumatic tools for basic services).

Responsibilities

Perform tire installations and rotations.
Complete oil, lube, and filter services.
Install batteries.
Assist with inspections and basic mechanical repairs.
Work on all makes and models.
Follow proper procedures and maintain high-quality standards.
