Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is hiring a General Service Technician in Chattanooga, TN. You will perform non-technical service tasks such as oil changes, tire and wheel care, and light inspections, working alongside ASE-certified techs.

Starting pay ranges from $15 to $20 per hour, with benefits including bi-weekly pay, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation and holidays, health insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. Opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive service is preferred but not required.
• Able to work Monday through Saturday.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for an MVR review.
• At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from locations using company vehicle.
• Assist with parts pickup from vendors and the office.
• Perform basic services: oil changes, tire rotation, wheel balance, etc.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safety, document vehicle condition.
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns to supervisor.
