Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a General Service Technician to start a rewarding automotive career with a trusted national brand. You will perform tire mounting and balancing, oil changes, multi-point inspections, and light maintenance while keeping the shop clean and safe.

We value growth, promote from within, and offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting pay ranges from $14 to $18 per hour, with opportunities to advance as you gain experience and possibly obtain a State Inspector

Qualifications

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Some knowledge of basic automotive systems (preferred).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Flexibility to work Saturdays (with Sundays off!).

Responsibilities

• Tire mounting, dismounting, balancing & rotation.
• Oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance.
• Multi-point inspections & documenting vehicle conditions.
• Keeping the shop clean, organized, and safe.
• Requires driving vehicles in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Pick up parts and supplies.
• Transport customers as needed.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to direct supervisor.
• Supporting team members with other assigned tasks.
• Adheres to Sun Auto’s core values and company policies.
