Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Firestone Complete Auto Care team in McPherson, KS. This entry‑level role supports diagnosing and repairing basic automotive systems, performing oil changes, tire maintenance, and road tests. Full and part‑time benefits are available from day one.

You will learn on‑the‑job with ASE certification opportunities and a flexible schedule. Valid driver’s license required; automotive experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in the automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road‑test vehicles.
