Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician for Firestone Complete Auto Care in Alabama. You will diagnose and repair basic automotive issues, perform oil changes, tire maintenance, and inspect electrical systems.

A valid driver’s license is required and on-the-job training is provided. We offer full and part-time benefits from day one, ASE certifications, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks.
Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

Learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive issues including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical systems.
Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
Perform tire maintenance and maintenance on batteries, shock absorbers, and electrical systems.
Road test vehicles to ensure proper operation after service.
Document work performed and communicate findings with customers.
