Job summary

Plaza Tire Service in Missouri is hiring a Lube and Tire Technician to join our entry-level automotive team. This role focuses on oil changes, tire services, and basic maintenance while learning from experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role suitable for mechanically inclined candidates.
• Willingness to learn basic automotive maintenance tasks.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license and MV Records check.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services, including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance, including fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, and air and cabin filters.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and repair order documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Identify safety-related issues and communicate findings through the proper store channels.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections, where applicable, under appropriate supervision.
• Keep customer vehicles and shop clean and customer-ready.
• Transport customers and parts using company or customer vehicles.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE; report hazards.
• Work collaboratively with technicians and service advisors and participate in training.
• Work flexible schedule, including weekends; and other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to Sun Auto's core values and policies.
