Job summary

Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center (SARRC) in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an entry-level Research Associate on-site. The role provides training, mentorship, and exposure to clinical studies involving individuals with autism and other developmental disorders.

You will support data entry, participant recruitment, and behavioral assessments while learning under senior staff. A strong interest in autism research and ethics is essential as you grow professionally in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Public Health, or related field (preferred).
• Experience: Previous experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus but not required.
• Mindset: Strong interest in autism research and ethics in human subject research.

Responsibilities

• Data Integrity: Perform high-accuracy data entry and management to support ongoing clinical trials and studies.
• Participant Engagement: Lead recruitment efforts, acting as the first point of contact for families and individuals interested in our research.
• Clinical Assessment: Train under senior staff to conduct a variety of behavioral and developmental assessments.
• Study Logistics: Ensure all study tasks are completed within strict regulatory timelines and maintain high-quality documentation.
