Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking an Assembler I responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling products per customer specifications. The role requires setting up work areas, fitting parts per instructions, and using hand tools to complete assemblies.

The position emphasizes maintaining a clean, safe work environment, performing pre-shift inspections, and keeping production records. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED; 6 months of manufacturing experience is preferred

Qualifications

  • Basic math skills required for counting and measurements.

Responsibilities

  • Completes work area setup.
  • Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and quality standards.
  • Operates hand tools as required to complete the assembly process.
  • Stacks completed products and may cover, label, and band components.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area and ensures equipment is safe to operate.
  • Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports issues.
  • Maintains production records as required.
  • Checks materials and finished products for standards compliance.
  • Follows safety and quality procedures and participates in relevant programs.
