Job summary

Maysteel-Industries-LLC is seeking an operator at the Flex 1 level to perform routine and complex setup operations in assembly and spot welding. You will work with technicians and leaders to gain skills for promotion to GSO level, including training on related equipment and processes.

Guard against defects, follow routings and blueprints, and log data using Epicor ERP. This entry-level role offers hands-on training in a manufacturing environment with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Experience with power and hand tools is recommended.
• Entry level - will train.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment with PPE and proper lifting techniques.
• Gain knowledge and inspection practice to ensure quality conformance.
• Inform management of any part or equipment defects for prompt response.
• Start up and stop equipment.
• Read gauges and record data.
• Use Epicor ERP to log into and out of jobs.
• Assemble components accurately and efficiently to spec.
• Assist in training new employees.
