Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC in El Paso, TX is seeking an entry-level Operator, Assembler. This role involves basic assembly and packaging with opportunities to learn additional tasks and advance as higher-level positions become available.

The position offers a daytime shift from 5:30am to 3:30pm and a pay rate of $17.78 to $19.03 per hour. Candidates should be able to read and write English, stand for long periods, and lift up to 45 lbs; SAP and MS Office experience are desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must read, write, and speak English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Must be able to stand and lift heavy loads for long periods
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs
• Experience with SAP, Excel, and Word desirable

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work under supervision and communicate with supervisor and peers
• Ensure materials are properly packaged
• Read and comprehend production SOPs
• Set up equipment and ensure production materials are available
