Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC is seeking an entry-level Operator, Assembler in El Paso, TX. The role involves minor assembly and packaging with the opportunity to learn higher-level tasks as shifts and positions become available.

You will work under supervision, following SOPs and quality checks to ensure safe, accurate production. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, English language skills (Spanish a plus), and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read, write, and speak English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Must be able to stand and lift heavy loads for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work under supervision and maintain ongoing communication with the supervisor and peers through verbal instruction and reports.
• Ensure materials are properly packaged
• Put scrap into the designated scrap bins
• Read and comprehend production SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Set up equipment and ensure production materials are available
