What you’ll do:

Join a dynamic team where your hands-on skills and attention to detail help power innovation! We’re looking for an Entry Level Assembler to support our fast-paced manufacturing operations. If you enjoy working with tools, building quality products, and being part of a team-driven environment, this role is for you.

What you'll do:

• Meet team-based production goals by assembling small and large components to form sub-assemblies using hand tools, air tools, rivet guns in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Operate the base robot and sub assembly machines. Build devices per drawing, routing, and work instructions.
• Perform quality checks consistent with the Inspection and control plans.
• Conduct inventory/replenish parts to assembly stations. Use the Kanban system to assure availability of parts
• Read orders and drawings to determine assembly procedures such as component types and configuration, mounting locations and clearances required.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain 5S in the area

Position Criteria:

• • Be responsible for following all safety policies and procedures, and wearing proper PPE Perform work in a manner that supports Eaton Quality standards and systems
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment utilizing air tools.
  • Work side by side with team members to achieve team-based production goals
  • Working knowledge of assembly machinery and tools
  • Ability to workmandatory overtime as needed
  • Work with various groups of employees in team-based environment, cross train on all assembly lines and help train new employees.
  • Lift 40 pounds repeatedly and able to safely team lift items exceeding that weight and able to stand/walk for a working shift
  • Perform other duties, as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of six months' work experience
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of worklocationwill be considered.Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
• Internal Only:Must not be on a written or a final written warning
• Internal Only:Employee must complete at least 6 months in their current role before becoming eligible to apply for another position including same role on a different shift

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of six months experience in an assembly related role with the use of hand and/or power tools (experience in automotive repairs, construction, carpentry, or other assembly type environments will be considered) ORa minimum of 6 months previous manufacturing, military, or related experience.
• High school diploma/GED from an accredited institution
