Job summary

Light Industrial Manufacturing is seeking an US - Assembler - Level 1 to join the production floor in Houston, TX. You will perform hands-on assembly, quality checks, and provide production support using hand tools and power tools in a safety-conscious environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with 0–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred. Shift is 1st: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, full-time and temporary in nature.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of manufacturing/assembly experience preferred.
• Apprenticeship or formal training in a related area may be required.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in manufacturing.
• Ability to follow instructions with close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fabricated parts and components at assigned workstations using established procedures.
• Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances.
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to detailed instructions.
• Identify units not meeting quality or testing standards and perform repairs or corrections.
• Follow work instructions, safety procedures and quality requirements while keeping area clean and organized.
