David Weekley Homes in Orlando is seeking an entry-level Architectural Draftsperson to support the Design Services team. You will create and update lot-specific construction drawings for single-family and attached homes using Revit and AutoCAD, and assist with permit sets.

This role emphasizes cross-functional coordination with engineers and internal partners, archiving plans, and answering plan questions during construction, while gaining exposure to the residential development process.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in architecture or similar field required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Ability to read residential construction drawings (plans, elevations, sections, details).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple plan updates.

Responsibilities

• Create and update lot-specific construction drawings for single-family and attached homes using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Prepare construction and permit drawing sets.
• Coordinate plan updates with division teams, engineers, and internal partners.
• Maintain and organize plan archives and documentation.
• Assist builders and teams with plan-related questions during construction.
• Collaborate with our international drafting team to ensure plans are accurate and up to date.
