Job summary

David Weekley Homes, based in Houston, TX, seeks entry-level Architectural Drafters to join our Architectural Design Team. You will develop construction documents for permitting and starts, revise plans, and coordinate sheets with field teams.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, a relevant architecture degree, and strong communication skills. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a path to growth within a nationally recognized homebuilder.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associates degree in Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field.
• Knowledge of residential plans and construction drawings preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software required.
• Work well under time constraints.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Service-oriented mindset with a team player attitude.
• An ideal candidate will possess essential soft skills: excellent time and project management, highly organized, problem-solving abilities, sense of urgency, detail-oriented, adaptable.
