Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking an Architectural Associate – Entry Level to assist Project Managers with design solutions for public and private sector projects. You will gain NCARB AXp experience while learning construction documents and client relations through hands-on design tasks.

Responsibilities include site visits, schematic design support, client presentations, and coordination with partners. Ideal candidates hold a architecture degree and are eager to learn and grow in a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s required for entry.
• 0–2 years of professional experience.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, Lumion, and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Proficient in Revit and design documentation workflows.
• Interest in ARE exams and ongoing licensure.

Responsibilities

• Visit project sites to review existing conditions and document them.
• Assist design teams with schematic design and construction documents.
• Prepare client presentation materials using design software.
• Support project managers, coordinate with consultants, and maintain team communication.
• Self-check work for accuracy and ensure document compliance.
• Develop design ideas and concepts as part of the design team.
