Job summary

Ghafari Associates is seeking an Architect with supervision from senior staff to assist in design and technical tasks on projects in development. You will read construction documents, help field checks, and support the preparation of construction documents under the lead architect.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering and familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and related tools. Join a collaborative team in a global engineering and design firm.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering is required.
  • 0–3 years of related architecture experience preferred.
  • NCARB AXP process is started/required.

Job Description:General Summary:The Architect, with overall supervision from the Manager of Architecture, and day-to-day supervision from the Project Manager and/or Project Architect, assists in executing office and project-related design and technical tasks of simple complexity.Essential Job Functions:Capable of generally reading and understanding existing construction documents and assist in field checking architectural features on existing buildingsPossess/demonstrates the graphic ability to assist in the production of existing building as-built drawings and develop architectural building backgroundsPossess/demonstrates the knowledge and ability to assist in the set-up of project files per client or office standards.Assists in the production of construction documents based on direction from the lead Project ArchitectAssists with design tasks and with technical documentation tasks under direction from the Design LeadPossess/demonstrates the communication skills to work with all assigned project team members, including engineering disciplines.
