Slingshot Architecture in Des Moines is seeking a recent Architectural graduate (Entry-Level Architectural Associate / Recent Graduate) to join our small but passionate studio. You will support all project phases under the direction of mid- to senior-level designers, helping develop concepts through documentation and team collaboration.

This full-time position offers a collaborative, teaching-studio environment, remote work opportunities after onboarding, flexible scheduling, health and dental

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture required.
• Up to two years of non-licensed experience preferred.
• Strong design instinct and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and contribute across all design phases.

Responsibilities

• Learn the SSA design process and project software, including ArchiCAD.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Refine designs with project team members and address technical challenges.
• Research materials and construction techniques to inform decisions.
• Assist in client presentations and site visits to gain exposure.
