Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Norton, VA is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to join our field crews. This full-time, non-exempt position offers hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include trimming and removing trees, operating tools, loading trucks, and helping with safety and training of new employees. A driver’s license is preferred, and no prior experience is required for entry-level candidates.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trim and/or remove trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Load/unload trucks and feed debris into woodchipper.
• Set up barriers and signs to protect employees and the public.
• Assist in training new employees and maintain safe work areas.
