Job summary

AMVT LLC in Katy, Texas is seeking an Entry Level Application Engineer to support and expand our recycled material sorting solutions across North America. The role blends sales, technical support, and on-site demonstrations, with travel to client sites for installations and training.

You will build customer relationships, provide hands-on troubleshooting, and help evaluate product performance. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred, and a willingness to travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Bachelor's or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with optical sorting machines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities through cold calling and referrals.
• Conduct on-site demonstrations, installations, and customer training.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting, remotely or in person.
• Coordinate product evaluations and sample testing for potential clients.
• Represent AMVT at trade shows and industry events.
• Maintain detailed records of sales activities and service reports.
