Novo Nordisk in Petersburg, Virginia, invites applications for an API Manufacturing Operator dedicated to pharmaceutical production in a highly automated environment. You will operate API manufacturing equipment, maintain inventories, adhere to GMP/cGMP standards, and contribute to safety and quality across shifts.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preference for chemistry/biology knowledge and prior pharma manufacturing exposure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of manufacturing experience in a chemical/pharma setting OR an Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology or a science-related field.
• Ability to read and understand SOPs and job instructions with attention to detail.
• Computer literacy and efficient use of Microsoft Office and production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate API manufacturing equipment to achieve production goals.
• Maintain chemical inventories and follow GMP/cGMP requirements.
• Read SOPs and JIs and develop knowledge through topic review.
• Perform setup, operation, monitoring and control of highly automated processes with supervision.
• Handle hazardous materials and maintain clean room areas and environmental monitoring.
