Job summary

BRIDGE PTS is a GLP-compliant CRO focused on preclinical studies, based in San Antonio, TX. We seek an entry level Animal Technician to care for research animals, assist with handling, and support lab readiness.

This full-time, on-site role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and welfare, with a Monday–Friday schedule and some pre-scheduled exceptions. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in animal science, biology, or related field, and a willingness to perform physical tasks.

Qualifications

• Comfort with working around animals and performing physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Care for research animals including feeding, watering, and enclosure cleaning.
• Document observations and monitor animal welfare.
• Assist with animal handling and procedural support.
• Prepare and maintain laboratories, instruments, and surgical areas.
• Follow study protocols and aid data collection and record-keeping.
• Collaborate with scientists, veterinarians, and technical staff.
