Job summary

Albany International Corporation is seeking an aircraft assembly worker in a day-shift role in Salt Lake City. You will assemble metallic and composite parts, read instructions and drawings, and use drills and other tools to fit components with bonding agents.

The job requires a high school diploma and 1–2 years of relevant experience, with A&P certification preferred. You will work on a clean, organized shop floor and collaborate with quality personnel to ensure proper sign-off levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in complex aircraft assembly.
• TradeSchool/A&P certification is desirable.
• Math on the shop floor and ability to read drawings/blueprints.
• 1-2 years using hand and power tools; dependable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit pre-fabricated metallic and composite parts into assemblies.
• Read aircraft assembly instructions, diagrams and drawings with minimal supervision.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble components with fasteners and bonding agents.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and coordinate with quality for sign-off.
