Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Production Support Technician I to perform lay-up, braiding and filament winding of composite materials per specifications. You will assist in assembling major aircraft structures and operate manual and powered tools with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

The role requires high school or associate degree or equivalent experience, and familiarity with SAP and inventory procedures.

Qualifications

• High School/Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with SAP system functions/transactions.
• Familiar with inventory systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Bonds, lays out and assembles components using hand tools and power tools according to plans and routing.
• Operates SAP transactions to manage material transfers and inventory.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and adheres to safety policies.
• Supports material handling, shipping/receiving and data entry tasks as needed.
