Job summary

AlbanyEngineered Composites (AEC) is seeking an experienced aircraft assembler to join our team in Salt Lake City. You will assemble and fit metallic and composite parts, read assembly plans and diagrams, and use hand and power tools to ensure high-quality structural assemblies. The role emphasizes punctuality, safety and adherence to procedure.

We value 1–2 years of assembly experience, and a background in reading blueprints and working with bonding agents. A&P certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience with complex aircraft assembly desired.
• Trade School certification such as A&P desired.
• Shop floor math skills and ability to read drawings or blueprints.
• Experience using various hand and power tools required; dependable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit pre-fabricated metallic and composite parts to form assemblies.
• Read and interpret aircraft assembly plans, diagrams and drawings with little supervision.
• Utilize hand and power tools; apply bonding agents and fasteners.
• Maintain a clean work area and cooperate with quality department to meet specs.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
