Cygnus, Inc. is seeking a mechanically skilled individual for a full-time day shift. The role involves operating measuring and hand tools to assemble high-quality aerospace sheet metal and machined parts.

Training is available for the right candidate; assembly experience is preferred. The position requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and fluent English communication in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Idaho.

Qualifications

• Assembly experience preferred; willing to train the right person.
• Experience with precision metal parts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height/depth gauges.
• Use hand tools such as torque wrenches, hand drills, screwdrivers and pliers.
• Read, understand and follow work orders and specifications.
• Follow written and verbal procedures or instructions.
• Setup drill presses, riveters, part mark or other machines.
• Sand parts with various tools.
• Mask parts to omit primer or paint.
• Touch up painted parts.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
