Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking an Entry-Level Loads and Dynamics Engineer to support loads and dynamics assessments for fixed-wing programs in Berkeley, Missouri. You will develop air vehicle requirements, build models, and perform analyses for design and test planning.

Strong analytical skills and familiarity with aerodynamics, stability & control, structural dynamics, aeroelasticity, and FEM are required; some travel to test sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field (including Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry)
• Course work/work experience in Aerodynamics, Stability & Control, Structural Dynamics, Aeroelasticity or FEM

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing air vehicle requirements
• Create vehicle-level models for loads and dynamics analysis
• Perform loads and dynamics analysis to support air vehicle design (flight/ground simulations, flutter/divergence, noise and vibration)
• Assist in developing flight and ground test requirements and plans
• Support ground/flight testing with pre-test analysis, real-time data monitoring, post-processing, and documentation of results
• Support airworthiness activities with regulatory agencies and customers
• Assist in developing vehicle flight envelope and operational limits
• Occasional travel to test sites and vendor offices
